| Already 19 lives saved |
Since its introduction on the market in 2000, the Poseidon System has triggered alerts resulting from real accidents and helped lifeguards detect and rescue 19 drowning victims all over Europe. (Netherlands, France, United-Kingdom,
Belgium, Germany,…)
All these incidents happened in public swimming pools staffed with professional lifeguards and demonstrate the difficult task lifeguards are facing. It is almost impossible to maintain a constant vigilance and no human being can see everything all the time but it only takes a few seconds for someone to get into trouble and start to drown.
